As a navy retiree and a mother of four children I found myself trying to balance proper mental and physical health as well as running a household. On this journey I found that taking a pause and being mindful to what I put into my body and how I treated my body was the most important thing to being able to manage all the things I need be present for. I found that nutrition is a key ingredient to being able to have a healthy lifestyle. Being conscious of my nutrition and staying active has given me the determination to share with others the importance of good food and exercise.
